ok, i have a confession...i love pokemon games! lol...i'm 22, and it kind of embarasses me that i love the same games that my brother did years ago when he was only 7.

anyways...there is a lot of pokemon games out for DS now, but i want to know what everyone thinks of them! i loved the original pokemons, pokemon blue and red and yellow for gameboy. i don't want to get one of the pokemon games for DS and find out it's something thats like...different...like how pokemon snap wasn't like a typical pokemon game (i liked that one though :) ).

also, any other games that i just have to try? i am making my christmas list :)

I am biased on this, simply because I could never get into it.

My younger cousin loved it though when I used to babysit him for my aunt and uncle, so that might be why I disliked it, I had to watch the show, over and over again, it was grueling.

However, here is a general list (and the links that follow) to the DS Pokemon games, listed on Wikipedia.

Scroll down slightly through 'P', and there you are. Of course, it is Wikipedia, so the information may change rapidly.

There are four pokemon games that i can remember.

Pokemon Dash - Its a racing game with pokemon. Think Mario Kart but with Pikachu.

Pokemon Trozie - A well designed puzzel game, involving pokemon but mostly as decaptiated heads.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team - Its like the Mystery Dungeon games that are VERY popular in Japan. Not that fun if you are looking for a "traiditional" pokemon experience.

Pokemon Ranger - Its more like the traditional but you don't keep the pokemon you "catch" essentially you are coercing pokemon to do your bidding for one move to help you solve problems and get through obstacles. HOWEVER collecting Manphy eggs in this game will lead you to being able to get Manphy when Pokemon Diamond/Pearl come out in March.

Hope that was helpful!
