DS users/players of Washington State
ok, i have a confession...i love pokemon games! lol...i'm 22, and it kind of embarasses me that i love the same games that my brother did years ago when he was only 7.
anyways...there is a lot of pokemon games out for DS now, but i want to know what everyone thinks of them! i loved the original pokemons, pokemon blue and red and yellow for gameboy. i don't want to get one of the pokemon games for DS and find out it's something thats like...different...like how pokemon snap wasn't like a typical pokemon game (i liked that one though :) ).
also, any other games that i just have to try? i am making my christmas list :)
Okay okay! No one's posted in a while, I'm sure everyone's excited about the Wii, but the new DS Lites came out recently and my boyfriend and I got a black and pink one.
We've also recently picked up Cooking Mama(awesome!), Tetris, and the New Super Mario Brothers. We also picked up the boardgame combo with battleship, monopoly, yahtzee, and boggle.
....So while you were in class, did you ever find yourself trying to sneak in sessions of DS time?
I'll admit, I'm not the best of students. If I could, I'd totally play Mario Kart with my friend across the room during lectures.
I suppose I'm wondering if I'm the only bad seed out there that attempted this.

What do you consider to be the best DS game out right now?
I havnt been playing many games as of late, but I still try to keep up with all the platforms I enjoy..
It's also been mighty quiet here as of late, and I want a little input from members.

I just updated the roster for our community here. If you would please take a look at it, make sure your information is correct, and then let me know here, I would appreciate it.
There is a general link for the roster on the link panel, but it is here for your convenience: http://www.ken-icide.com/dswa.html
Thanks in advance all!

I just reserved a DS Lite and, as a first time user, want to know which games you all would recommend. I'm pretty much open to anything, as long as it's not that bloody. My plan is to buy 2 games on Sunday with the console. Thanks all!
I'm Kate, originally from Tacoma, now residing in Honolulu.
I got my DS in November, for something to do on plane trips. I'm in love with Animal Crossing: Wild World! Also, Brain Age, for as lame as it may seem, is time-consuming and interesting. You really don't realize just how long you've been playing it. I also have Nintendogs, Spyro, Tak, Mario Kart, Electroplankton, Metroid Hunters... etc.
...Yeah, this is what happens when you spend too much time on long flights across the pacific....
Anyhow, hey there. *wave*

I just picked Polarium up at Target the other day. They had it on clearance (presumably to make room in their cases for other games). I'm not certain if Target will have the same deal at other locations but it certainly is worth checking out if you've been interested in picking up this Puzzle game.
My wife really like puzzle games, so I picked it up for her and havnt opened it yet. But I know quite a few of you here already have it.
Anywho, just thought i'd mention that!
